An Appetite
Last night at dinner, Reagan ate a whole jar of squash, followed by a whole jar of green beans, followed by half a bottle of milk mixed with rice. ASTOUNDING. This from the girl who's averaged 3-4 ounces max every 5 hours during the day her entire babyhood, and who hasn't broken the 5th percentile yet for weight. Growth spurt? Maybe!!!

Such a GOOD Girl
Reagan is such a GOOD baby. She frequently (and I mean, at LEAST once a week) goes to work with me, waiting patiently while I do my thing. Today, it was a 3 hour meeting, where she was wide awake the entire time, smiling quietly at me from her car-seat. Not a peep for onehundred and eighty minutes. She's six months old, and I would expect her to get a little crabby during such outings, but... NOPE! Am I lucky or what???

Solids
Reagan has begun level one baby foods. She's not a fan of peaches, although she seems to like carrots very well. Her eating habits are reminiscent of her brothers. At tonight's meal, she had carrots all over her hair, face, hands, feet, pajamas, the Bumbo chair, the table, the carpet, and her mother. She consumes 10% of each jar MAX - the rest we wear. I should just coat the entire house in plastic, and remove it when everyone turns 18. The mess is constant and overwhelming!!!! I would've taken a picture, but didn't want to get pureed carrots all over my new camera.

Reversal
All of a sudden, for the past two days, Reagan has decided that she HATES binkies, and wants nothing to do with them. This after two months of insisting on having one in her mouth at every waking moment. Weird. That was an easy habit to break, I guess!!!
A Record-Breaking Sit
She did it... that little girl sat and sat and sat, for nearly TWO MINUTES, while her mother snapped shots of her! A gold medal performance. She'd tip a little, I would wait to see if I needed to catch her, but... no! She'd right herself ! This will make picture taking SO MUCH easier, not having to prop her up. Which, I'm sure, is why God made unsupported sitting a developmental milestone... so mother's everywhere could go camera happy with a baby that SITS, but does not MOVE. Thank you for that.

Reagan's Half Year Birthday

All In A Name
Back in January, I wrote a post about how I always called Reagan "Morgan", because I was more used to talking to the dog. I've noticed lately that I've been calling the dog "Reagan" instead of Morgan. That means Reagan is breaking me in, and I'm getting used to the fact that she's sticking around! You're winning, Reagan!!
