A Quilt from Grandma

Grandma Betty slaved for months to make Reagan her ultimate dream quilt for her new bedroom.  All her favorite colors.  Decorated with flowers.  Lined with soft, fuzziness on the inside.  It is beautiful.  What a lucky girl!

10 Year old Stats

Reagan's 10  year well-child visit was today, so I'm recording her stats for all posterity.

Weight: 56.6 pounds (7th%)
Height: 53.75" (41st%)
BMI: 3.24%

She is healthy, wealthy, and wise.  First report card of the 4th grade, all A's.  Student council Vice President.  Involved in Lego League, choir, soccer, Little Flowers.  Braces to be removed in two weeks.

10 years old looks good on her.  How we love this little girl!

Techie

Mom: "Reagan, please clean up the mess at the bottom of the stairs."
Reagan (in an announcer voice): "Do YOU or a loved one suffer from outdatedness?  If so, please call 1-800-GET-WITH-IT  and see how we can help".
Mom: "What's THAT supposed to mean???"
Reagan: "A robot should be doing all of this.  We are very behind the times.  We don't even have a ROOMBA!!!"

I think she's been immersed in Lego League robotics a bit too much lately.

Heritage

Reagan wrote this piece for Heritage Days at school.  I must admit, it made me tear up.  So cool to be descended from bona fide pioneers.
