Just something I want to remember about Reagan....
When she's hungry, she'll look longingly at whatever food has caught her eye, and say "M'mmmmmm M'mmmmmmm".

Little Miss Darlin'
Rob sat me down last night, and said in all earnestness...
"We have to be very careful with Reagan."
Careful? Why?
"She's so cute, we have the potential of spoiling her rotten, and we can't allow that."
OHHHHHH. Good point. At least Daddy's AWARE that she has him wrapped around her little finger. That's the start to a good defense.

Reagan and the Playgroup
Reagan attended her first playgroup at the indoor park today. There must've been about 25 or 30 kids there, plus parents. WOW! It was crazy, but fun. So cool to see tons of kids having a blast at the park we all worked so hard to build. Makes it all worth it. ANYWAYS, Reagan played hard and giggled herself silly. Looked so cute with her little pig tails. I sometimes think that, since she's an easy child, I spend too much time "going about my business" at home, instead of focusing time on just HER. Playgroup is purely "Mommy/Reagan" time, without laundry, or brothers, or the computer, or anything else in the way. It was good. We need to do more of that kind of thing.

Reagan the Reader
Reagan LOVES books. She loves to look at them, have them read to her, loves to flip them around and turn the pages. Whenever a book is taken out, she giggles and giggles, and climbs on up to the nearest lap to have it read to her. Her current fave is "Webster's Rhyming Dictionary". Such a smart girl!

The SandBox
Reagan is an incorrigable dumpster diver. She is in the garbage can CONSTANTLY. I find her with old yogurt containers, used coffee filters, milk jug lids. It's truly a problem. Luckily, the sandbox outside seems like a giant trash can to her, and she's in HEAVEN! She can get all dirty, put things in, take things out... it's wonderful. And Mom smiles and takes pictures instead of telling her "NO NO NO!"

Poor Little Girl
As if pink eye wasn't enough of an issue for Reagan's peepers, her horrible mother accidentally rammed her head against a granite counter top, to elicit THIS black eye. Poor thing!!!! I was just trying to towel off her hair, while she was sitting on my lap, while we were at the kitchen island. Maybe I should've done all that in the bathroom. This kid. If she survives us, it will be a miracle. The other day I was carrying her on my hip, walked through a door way, and.... yup. She had a face-plant encounter with the door jamb. I am uncoordinated in and of myself. When I am carrying around another human being.... UGH. Poor Poor Thing. She's a tough cookie, though. Obviously has to be in this household!!

18 Months Old
Our baby is a year and a half! Wow. Amazing how quick she is growing up! Here's what I know about our daughter, a year and a half into this gig....
Reagan laughs from her toes. Deep, gutteral, impish "pirate-like" laugh that does not sound like it should come from such a petite little girl.
She loves the dog, even though she's a little afraid of it.
Current weight: 19 pounds. Still less than the 3rd percentile for her age. I think we've made it on the growth chart once in her entire life. Height's in the 50th percentile, though.
Words: "uh-oh", "No" "Mama" "Dada" "og og (dog)" "shoooo (shoe)" "ock (sock)" and "ah duh (all done)". She will also sign "more" and "milk". There are no words for her brothers. They make her laugh alot, though!
Eats like a lumberjack. Cannot stand to have anyone else eating when she is not, and MUST eat the same as everyone else as well. If we're having steak, she insists on steak, too.
Still two full naps a day, plus at least 12-13 hours at night. We're incredibly lucky in that regard!
Loves to vacuum and wipe down tables (there is hope for a clean child!!!)
Prefers to sleep only in her own bed. Refuses to sleep in a car.
Has absolutely no interest in T.V., but loves books.
Smiley, happy, adorable, spunky. The "personality to package size" ratio is enormous!!
