Because of Reagan's speech delay, phrases come slowly. Last night, I practiced with her over and over to get one particular phrase right, and she finally got it. It's slow and deliberate, and she says it haltingly, with each word separate, but it's THERE....
"I..... LOVE....YOU".
It melts my heart. I've been waiting so long to hear it. After we practiced, and she finally said it last night, I cheered, and gave her a kiss. Then she snuggled down in her blanket, looked up at me and said "Night night, Mama".
AHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I am content.
