In the car on the way to school

Reagan:  "mom, why did God make the boys be born bad?"

Mom: "They're not bad, Reagan. "

Reagan: "Yes!!  They are!"

Mom: "No. No one is born bad. God makes us good, but sometimes we make bad choices   "

Reagan: "The boys make a lot of bad choices. "

Mom: "Unfortunately, we all do."

((Silence))

Reagan: "Mom, once I brought my lunch to school but they were having pizza so I took hot lunch instead."

Hmmmmm. I had actually emailed the school and made them give me a refund for their error in Reagan's lunch balance. Great.   I'm glad her conscience actually got the better of her. NINE months later. 

Yup. Bad choices.
