Reagan was doing her Michigan State History tonight, and read that initially, it was suggested that Detroit become Michigan's state capital. The idea was nixed, however, because Detroit was too close to Canada, and that would make it vulnerable if there were ever a Canadian-American war. I laughed out loud.
Me: "That's funny. We've never had a war with Canada."
Reagan: "Well, you never know. Everyone always says how nice those Canadians are. But they're SO nice, they just might be up to something!"
HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA.
