Mornings getting ready for school and work are always hectic affairs. There might be some ...ahem.... raised voices on occasion, when little people pay no regard whatsoever to the clock, despite repeated "reminders" from their parents. There might be some screaming between siblings, some difficulty in keeping hands to self, some disregard in the personal hygiene required when presenting oneself in a public place such as an elementary school. In exasperation today, during the hurricane that is our mornings, my husband lamented ....
"WHERE did all these children COME FROM???"
Reagan, in her calm, chirpy little voice (which had been whining and crying in response to some offense from her brothers not 15 seconds before) said sweetly "Daddy, we come straight from Heaven."
OH. Yes, yes you do. It's so easy to forget sometimes, little people.
