Every once in awhile, the laundry needs to be left behind, the floors need to stay dirty, and the dishes need to continue to
rot soak in the sink. Today was one of those days. Turning a blind eye to all the housework that
obviously needed done, Reagan and Mommy decided to have a day to ourselves. We went to the local indoor park and played dinosaurs, slid down slides, swung on tire swings, and built a block castle. Then, because all that playing makes a gal hungry, we feasted on Chicken McNuggets and a yogurt parfait.
The dishes didn't disappear while we were gone, but Mommy's learning to let it go, and allow us these precious moments every once in awhile.
