Bed Rest

Just got back from the doctor's. She feels the bleeding is from losing Baby B, and that Baby A may be a little stressed from the miscarriage. So, I'm off work for the week, lying low at home. Baby A is looking good, though, and growing well, and that is such a HUGE relief! Odd bit of trivia... the doctor said that statistically speaking, when there are originally two babies and then just one, that one baby tends to be born a little prematurely, even if the 2nd baby is lost early like ours was. Don't know why that is, and whether it will hold true for us of not, but.... there it is. All in all, I am reassured that our baby is okay, and that we just need to take it easy for a little bit, and let it adjust to life alone in the womb.
